I bought like every single Christmas related kit I could find.. so I have to start now if I want to finish by Christmas!! I also won’t have much to do this holiday season, I have to work Christmas Day this year, so my family might abandon me on Christmas to go see other family.

That’s unfortunate that you have to work on xmas day. Here in Aus everything will be shut by so people can enjoy their time with family. I hope they pay you triple with bonus. 
Oh yes, I’ll get paid lots of money lol. Everything shuts down here too, but I work in manufacturing, and we can’t really leave the plant down in the middle of winter to freeze lol, and if we have our furnace and thermal oil system going then a power engineer has to be there, and that’s me haha! I’ve gotten lucky and had the last few Christmas’s off, you win some, you lose some!
Oh well, I hope you make the most of the festive season.
