I finished the Rolife Christmas Eve Party, and added a Philippine Christmas Lantern (Parol) made of toothpicks, polymer clay and green post-it notes for the tassels. Reminiscent of my family Christmas dinners in my home country. I’m not by any means a craft pro, but I figured it’s a great way to repurpose some household items to create something that reminds me of home.
Great job! I really enjoyed how colorful and lightful this kit looks. I may even think about it as an extra for the Christmas decorations!
Great job. That’s a good idea for using household items. So wonderful
So pretty!
You did an amazing job and I learned something new about another culture today so thank you! ![]()

Makes this even more personal and enjoyable for you!
Really nicely done
i love your personal details. Is there a meaning to the parol? Is it something you hang up at Christmas? Or does it have another meaning?
This is amazing! I’m loving the parol so much and I’m definitely going to make one too. Thank you for the great idea!
The Parol is a nice touch. I can definitely feel the holidays coming with your photos.
Yes. The star represents the Star of Bethlehem and is the iconic symbol of Philippine Christmas tradition.
What a beautiful symbol for Christmas, i love it ![]()
