I started the Melody tree yesterday, im up to the cog installation and all of a sudden im nervous!
I have read from @Nita_Davis to sand and wax inbetween all of the cog teeth.
Any other handy hints for me before I go any further? Anyone built this and learn something during the build they wish they knew before they started?

The beginning looks good! I haven’t built this build yet, but my tip is: read the manual carefully and, above all, have fun building it, and everything will turn out fine 
Thank you Liset! I am going really slowly to make sure i do everything correctly! I got a bit confused with the stairs haha but worked it out!
If you build quietly and sand and wax everything well, everything will turn out fine. I’m curious about your progress

One more tip…be sure when you are building your tree that all pieces go in flat and are flush where they meet the middle rings. Very important!

Never built this but I believe you can do it @Nectarines especially with Robotime community. Everyone here is so helpful and supportive

You’re doing great! Sanding and waxing the cogs is definitely the best tip, it makes a huge difference for smooth movement. I’d also say take your time with alignment, because even the tiniest misplacement can cause a snag later. Can’t wait to see your Melody Tree come to life!
Thank you! I definitely took my time to line everything up as perfectly as i could! And i tested it at each step top just to make sure!
I think i will sand the cogs of the spaceshuttle to. I feel a light resistance when moving the tracks manually

Oh. There is the little motor. I’ve never done any motorized.
Yep! It moves and plays songs! They are really quite eaay, the instructions are very clear 
It’s a music box right? I love that they are implementing those. I loved those as a kid. It just felt like magic.
Yes it has a music box. The melody tree plays three songs. I cant remember what they are without playing it though lol
The rolife globe is really nice too. Its also a music box and it spins and my 3 year old loves sitting and watching it go around! I havent shared that one here but i think i might take some photos today!
I would be so nervous about a 3yo playing with it.
