After two weeks of building, the magic piano is finished. The colors were chosen by my niece, for whom I built the piano. I also applied glow-in-the-dark paint to the flames on the candles. Tomorrow, after it’s been in daylight all day, I’ll test whether it actually glows in the dark.
I’m going to give her the piano on Thursday; I’m very curious to see how she likes it
WOW! This turned out SO nice! How old is your niece? I am sure she will absolutely love it. I sure hope it works well after ‘sun-charging’. It’s a LOVELY piece to look at even withOUT glowing. You made it SO special…and as always…every detail is amazing! Love that your candles go from orange to yellow. Perfect!
Thank you @Nita_Davis my niece is 9 years old. She plays the piano and really love this kit. The didn’t see pictures before so this thursday is an surprise for here. I painted the candles first yellow but didn’t like it, so i put a little bit orange on it
Wow. That looks so good @Liset . I’m sure she will love it. The like the contrast colour between the piano and the red flower gives it the vibrant look. Hope it glows the way you want.
They are pure perfection! I know she will love it! @Liset
Thank you @Tricia12 the flower looks red on the picture but In real life it is neon pink with purple
I think it is because of the light that it looks different in the photo
My wait is over! And well worth the wait! OMG!! You did amazing, phenomenal and everything in between! Im so so so glad you didnt give up on this
shes gonna absolutely love it!
It looks amazing! Your niece will super love it!
I love the pop of color of the flower from the rest of the piano. Excited to see how it glows too. If you have UV light, you can try that too.
Wow. These pictures are beautiful. The color of piano is lovely and luxurious. Thanks for sharing photos
She’s going to love it, not just for how beautiful it looks, but because it was made with so much care and thought.
Thank you @Emma_Samchek When I start something, I don’t give up easily. It’s strange that building the same thing twice causes so many problems
Thank you @Jill_Francisco Unfortunately, I don’t have UV light at home. I have to get to work soon, and by the time I get home, it’ll probably have been in the light long enough.
Thank you @ThaoNguyen The end result isn’t as ugly as I thought it would be. I’m curious about my niece’s reaction.
Thank you
You did well.
Thank you
