ROKR Expert Challenge
1) My answer: C — The Dream Gift Factory
A – Magic Piano: This is mainly a mechanical music box.
B – Red Rose Bouquet: The roses are beautiful, but this particular bouquet is primarily a decorative floral build.
C – The Dream Gift Factory: The Dream Gift factory-style model is designed with lights, movement, and music. It specifically includes multiple LED lighting zones along with moving mechanical elements.
I chose C because it’s a mechanical model designed with lighting effects, while A is mainly a musical/mechanical piano and B is a decorative flower bouquet. The Dream Gift Factory has a built-in light feature that gives it that extra magical effect!
2) My answer: C — The Carousel
A — Guitar: It looks musical, but it appears to be a decorative/mechanical guitar rather than the object intended to play a built-in tune.
B — Globe: This is primarily a mechanical globe/display piece, with no obvious music-box function.
C — Carousel: Its ornate rotating structure is characteristic of a mechanical music box, where the movement can both rotate the carousel and play music.
I chose C, the carousel, because miniature carousels are commonly designed with a built-in music-box mechanism. The rotating platform and ornate figures are strong clues that it can play music while moving.
3) My answer: A - Manta Ray Mechanical 3D Puzzle Kit MI06

C - Like a mechanical fish- balancing ornament
I chose A - The Manta Ray MI06 is part of that series and is ROKR’s mechanical interpretation of the graceful “flying” creature of the sea. Its moving fins recreate the natural swimming motion of a real manta ray, which is exactly what the Mechanical Species collection is about.
4) My answer: A- Marble Travel London Marble Run Wooden 3D Puzzle EGB01
A - Points to the highest starting section of the mechanism, where the marble can enter the track and begin moving through the different gears and pathways.
B and C - Appear to be lower/later sections of the route, so they wouldn’t make as much sense as the beginning.
I chose A — the marble begins its journey at the upper starting point.
5) My answer: C — Cuckoo Clock Mechanical 3D Wooden Puzzle
A- A mechanical/music-style box.
B - Perpetual Calendar 3D Wooden Puzzle LK201
C - Modeled after a cuckoo clock, with a visible clock face and hands.
I chose C - An actual clock mechanism and display that can tell the time.

A and B - Are points to exposed parts of the boat, where there doesn’t appear to be enough hidden space.
C - Since a secret compartment needs to be somewhere that can conceal an item, the base looks like the most likely hiding place.

A and B -Are pointing to parts of the factory structure that look stationary. Appear to be fixed parts of the factory.
C - Points to the tall transparent cylindrical chamber, and it is designed to rotate when the model starts.
I chose C — the rotating display cylinder on the right.
8) My answer: A - Parachute Tower DIY Music Box 3D Wooden Puzzle EA01
I chose B — The hot-air balloons are positioned around the central tower. They’re arranged like a carousel, so when the mechanism starts, they should rotate around the center.

I compared the distinctive small elements rather than the overall design and noticed that the red planet visible in the Original disappears in the Modified version.
