After a hectic work week, I’m so glad I finally found time to sit down and build again. The Cozy Kitchen kit turned out to be the perfect project to unwind with after days of being busy. It’s a bit more tedious than the others I’ve worked on since there’s a lot of cutting and gluing involved just to get the framework right but in a way, that slow and detailed process made it even more therapeutic.
I just finished assembling the kitchen’s framework and I’m satisfied with how it’s coming together. I’ve built quite a few DIY miniature houses before, but this is actually my first time working on a space that focuses on the structure of a home itself. I usually build kits that are related to dessert shops, restaurants or book-themed stores, so this feels like a refreshing change of pace.
Now, I’m even more excited to keep going and bring the space to life with all the tiny kitchen appliances and tools.
This quietly building, focusing on something with my hands and seeing progress unfold is what relaxation mean to me.
