Even on vacation, I can’t stop thinking about building kits!
This week I’m visiting some friends, and since we’re in a big city, I just can’t resist walking into every toy store or department store and checking the shelves for new kits. See the photo? This time I came across all of these!
I was so happy telling my friend about the ones I’ve already built, the little modifications I made compared to the original kit, showing her photos of the final results, and explaining whether I kept them or gifted them to someone else.
So, what’s your favorite kit? For me, Sam’s Study will always have a special place in my heart — it was my very first one
You have a lot of choices there. I’ve never made a miniature before, but my favorite build so far was the pinball, because it had a lot of details to paint and also involved some technical details, like lighting. But actually, every build is still super fun to build
I love it when there’s a variety of miniature houses, but in this place it felt like there weren’t that many. The pinball is a great choice though! And yes, I agree with you — every kit is super fun and you put a little part of yourself into each one as you build it
What a selection! I wish i took a photo of the Christmas display in our store now! Maybe i will have to go back
I found kikis magic emporium really fun to build. It was fast and easy but it was fun because if the contents like the boxes of skulls and the little crystals
My favourite to look at, or overall favourite i really cant choose! The dreamy garden house or emilys flower shop maybe!
Ohhh, now I want to see that Christmas display too — you should definitely go back for a photo!
Kiki’s Magic Emporium sounds amazing. I’m still thinking about how to customize it . I totally get you on not being able to choose a favorite… I chose Sam’s Study because it was my first, but it’s really hard for me to pick just one
For rolife it is definitely the cheers bar for me. I’m also very proud of some of the ugears technical models i build. Car that actually move and have gears connected to a spring driven engine
I really enjoy adding and tweaking little details or even giving a kit a completely different theme while I’m building it. I love letting my creativity run wild
I’m sure if you add more plants to your Kiki’s Magic Emporium, it will look amazing!
I think one of my favorite kits is Sakura Journey . I don’t know, I just love the pink and green together, love the spring atmosphere of this puzzle and relation to the Japan And this miniature was my first Rolife miniature, so it also has a special place in my heart
Nooo, we’d never dare to do that haha.
No, honestly, Thanksgiving isn’t really celebrated here in Spain, so I don’t pay much attention to it. As for Christmas, I haven’t built any Christmas kits yet. I’ve never actually seen one in person in the shops around here, and whenever I buy online, I always end up choosing other kits instead
That’s why none of them are my favorite
