This is the first time I ever attended any crafting community event and very glad I did to be able to see so many still enjoy building kits like I do. I got the bonsai kit to do and it was great to see other kits like these since I usually see the super creator kits and rokr bigger builds so it was something new for me to build!

Here’s a pic of the bonsai and the music box piano together. The music box piano is my 2nd build and I think the bonsai really looks great with it!

The bonsai kit was straightforward and easy to work with although I had a really hard time reading the print outs on the wood plates for C parts. Parts were in green and print out was very light colored and almost seemed to blend in together which made it so hard to read. Had to squint and pause for a while when building the C parts but overall it was a nice build and still happy to be able to build it!
So nice to hear this was your first crafting meetup! The bonsai looks beautiful, and it pairs perfectly with the piano music box. Hope you get to attend more events soon, building together with other makers is always such a great experience!
