My Valentine and Lunar New Year celebration 2026

:loudspeaker: :warning: LOUD AUDIO WARNING : Some videos has loud audio of live performances.

Sorta late update for both celebrations but real life sure took more of my time since last week! This post not gonna share on any build updates :face_blowing_a_kiss:

:beating_heart: Valentine’s day :
This year were celebrated with my latin dancer community in KL.
(the bf delivered teddy bear :teddy_bear: :face_with_peeking_eye: )

It was a sundowner event so we’re dancing at the restaurant’s balcony with lovely salsa romantica and slow cha-cha songs~

My hostel had our LNY dinner bit early last Sunday as one Chinese staff heading back to his hometown the next day.

Fast forward to Lunar New Year day, other than the usual wishing prosperity, wearing new red or gold colored clothes; another must do is watching liondance performances at malls nearby! :lion: :red_paper_lantern:

Malaysia boasts having top-tier world-ranking liondance group. Khuan Loke Malaysia here is one of them!

These Lions also will interact with lucky audiences, giving mandarin orange, toys, candies etc. :tangerine:

After the cheeky liondance show, I went window shopping for some craft upgrading; trying to find boards holder for better organizing during kit-building.
Found this dish holder stand in Daiso, seems good enough, also it made from wood so figured can paint it to my own liking!

Was also stumbed this; thinking will there be a future release of @Robotime doing snowglobe-concept DIY kit like this?

My Lunar New Year celebration is almost complete here. Another 2 days to enjoy the festivity!

See yall in next post :love_you_gesture:

Wow! You had the best celebrations!! I love the lion dances! It’s amazing those dancers could stand on those platforms in their big costume. It was so funny when one bit the other’s butt. :joy: I’ll never get tired of watching lion dances. I just love dance.

I would be jealous if I wasn’t off to my own big party.
