I fell in love with it at first sight, and spent two afternoons on and off assembling it. It is easy to remove the pieces from the board, and most of the assembly process is relatively smooth. If you assemble it wrong, you can still remove it easily. It is not like the toys I played with when I was a child, where the joints will break once they are removed. Alice’s skirt is plastic (or plastic), the teapot is plastic, and the lid is removable. The mirror in the middle is mirrored when the lights are off, and translucent when the lights are on. These details make the assembly process very surprising.
