it would be super helpful to have a PDF of the printed sheets so that part numbers could be labeled on the back side without all the “ noise” in the front without the flipping back and forth. it would made things super easy to find and allow for painting prior to assembly.

Welcome to the community! This is what I do — take a long piece of tape and make a little tab on the parts page so you can flip back to it super easily anytime you need it!
If I am understanding your question correctly, I would just snap a pic, flip the board once and label them. Delete pic and move on the next.
