I woke up today intending to get straight onto finishing Lost Ruins. Buuuuuut I could not get the fact that Spotlight’s 30% off storewide sale started today.
Sooo what did I do? I got in the car to go window shopping.
It all went well, but I caved and picked up a basket. I just needed a few more paint colours I told myself. And they are on sale.
So I got 6 new colours to add to my supplies.
Then I make the mistake and go to the model aisle. (Mistake or subconcious purposeful directive…you decide).
But I was good. I picked up nothing…that I can remember, but somehow when I got to the counter, these 4 models were in my basket.
Whats a guy to do. They clearly wanted to be adopted and find a new home, and I am a sucker for a good Kitnapping. I mean 30% off??? They sold themselves, and I will give them a good home.
My new board rack arrived @Grey74 have you got yours yet? It takes up less room than what I was using before, and is quite sturdy. The metal dividers are quite strong and don’t bend under pressure, but that is because they are designed to hold glass panels.
It can hold 15 borads, but you can easily double up with more than one board per slot if you really had to. If anyone is interested, it is on Amazon at the link below. It ships from the US.
Thank you @300. I think the kits were a good purchase too. And in time for Christmas…I just hope I have time to get them done along with the winter customisation and a kit for my partner’s christmas present that I also need to build and customise
You succumbed!!! The Cocoa Shop was my first ever build and created the addiction! It’s such a cute little kit. I browsed but that’s as far as I got. My Temu haul are starting to arrive ha ha
@chamelionboy wow I could look at this and find so many details I missed the first time. What a fantastic build!!
I can’t blame you for adopting this poor kits. What would have happened if they weren’t picked up? Oh I did get my holder, sorry I forgot to post a picture but I’ll get to it today. And yes I love it. Works perfectly!! I did t get the same model as you but I’ll show you what I got later !
The sticker in the base plate of the parts stand was a bugger to get off. It shredded so I had to soak it in hit water to get the rest of the paper off…then the sticker glue stayed on and I didn’t have any good remover so out came the method and a nylon scourer. Finally got it all off.
