even though I picked this one myself, this package came as a surprise for me. I did not get any notification and it did not get delivered by GLS or our standard mail company as I’m used to for Robotime packages.
This time DPD showed up at my door, but since I did not get a notification and I was at work, they did not leave the package at my back door, what I usually ask them to do. This time they brought it to a pick up point…
I really don’t like when they do that because I can only get there in the weekends. And my curiosity was very high , so I gave the retrieval note to my mom and asked her if she could pick it up since she doesn’t work Wednesday afternoons.
And surprise, it appeared to be the microscope I chose as my leaderboard prize for July. I’m really happy with it, it doesn’t seem too much to build. But looking forward to do it.
Oh, what a story! Wrong courier, no notification, and your package waiting at a pick up point while you were at work. I can only imagine how hard it was to be patient with your curiosity that high!
And your sweet mom stepping in on a Wednesday afternoon to rescue it for you. That is such a lovely thing. Moms always come through, don’t they?

Congrats on winning this kit!!! Wow this is a nice one. Microscopes play a big role in my life as I am a registered medical technologist before I became a registered nurse. This brings back a lot of memories! I hope to get one too in the near future!
