I wish Robotime did “Lucky Bags”

For people who don’t know, Lucky Bags are mystery bags sold at a discounted price at the end of the year. It gives companies and opportunity to sell products that are over stocked. It can be a good deal for the customer if it is a brand that they like.

They don’t really have Lucky Bags in my country but I wish they did. Especially things like Rolife.

No. That is a different custom. Sometime people get them mixed up. I’m taking about the Japanese custom called Fukubukuro.

Fukubukuro (Japanese: 福袋; pronounced [ɸɯ̥kɯbɯꜜkɯɾo]; “lucky bag”) is a Japanese New Year custom in which merchants make grab bags filled with unknown random contents and sell them for a substantial discount, usually 50% or more off the list price of the items contained within.

It’s not free.

I know Rolife isn’t Japanese. I just always thought it seemed fun. It is something I would purchase if it existed in my country.

Oh I see. I don’t know if Robotime would have something like that. I’m just new to the company not long ago.

I love Lucky bags! I am fond of Anime figures and Japan has those lucky bags that’s a great deal.

Getting a random Robotime lucky bag would be so cool.

Do you have Lucky bags in the Philippines? I think I remember you said that you live there. I know people fight over certain ones like the ones in the big Pokémon center. I would just want Rolife and candy lucky bags.

Black Friday is kind of the American version, I guess. Even the name sounds a less fun. Sounds like a day in a war or something. The terrible Black Friday invasion of 1903.

Really? That could be fun. Michael’s would be quite a mixed bag. I would want more art supplies than decorations. And of corse craft kits. I bet the rolife kits never make it into their lucky bags. Too much of a high ticket item. I think.

One time as a kid I bought a small lucky bag at a Sanrio store. I was obsessed with it. I got a little pencil case and stationery. I loved it.

Nice idea, but Robotime had already black friday deals

I have seen clothing companies do this for kids clothes a lot. The only problem I can see Is the chances of someone getting a kit they already have might be really high when a lot of us already have such large collections :face_with_peeking_eye::rofl:

I have not bought one for that exact reason although I know several have gotten like Cricut vinyl and stuff, so I dont know

Getting doubles would be disappointing. But I feel pretty safe because there is still a ton of kits that I still want. I would have pretty good odds of getting things I don’t have.

I like the idea of getting to try random kits that I wouldn’t usually think much of. Like the corner kit I just did. I only bought it because it was a good deal but I ended up LOVING the experience.

It is a good way to get to try new things  that’s what I love about the giveaways too, I won a hot air balloon I never probably would have purchased but I’m enjoying it so much that I might purchase more and make soem as gifts now :star_struck:

I love that aspect of them too. I got to do the Sky Captain build because I won it here. It made me very happy.
