The Happy Meals Kitchen is officially complete… and this one is extra special
As I mentioned when this cutie arrived as my January leaderboard prize, it was actually a gift for my sister, and she absolutely loved receiving it. She’s built way fewer kits than I have, but she’s really starting to get the bug… and now she keeps asking to build more and more
She started it a few days ago and yesterday she told me she had finished it! This is her first Super Creator kit (although the Hello Kitty supermarket is kind of similar, to be fair).
What I find so funny is how differently we build. When I started, I followed the instructions super carefully because I was scared of messing up, but I’d still move things around a bit to give it my own touch. My sister? She follows the instructions exactly as they say. If it goes in one position and one specific way, that’s exactly how it’s going
She told me she loved that it’s fully plastic, found it beautiful, simple but very entertaining, and now she wants to build many more in this style. I told her I have four… but I’ve seen people with entire towers of them stacked in a corner of a room.
Her eyes literally sparkled when I said that.

I may have created a monster…

Anyway, wishing you all a very happy first week of March! It’s going to be a busy one for me (grades, evaluations, end-of-term chaos…), but also an exciting one, my second meetup is on the 22nd and I’m SO excited about it.

Thanks for reading!!

I won’t blame your sister for falling in love with Super Creators. They are just so relaxing to build plus the details on each item is so realistic. It’s so sweet of you to be gifting your sister with this and looks like there will be more gifts coming hehehe

You may have created a monster but it’s one monster we need more of in the world!

Hehehe you’re absolutely right!! They are dangerously relaxing to build. The details really surprised her, especially all the tiny little items. And yes… I have a feeling this might be the beginning of many more “accidental” gifts

That kit is so cute and it looks fantastic! I also love, regarding this post and previous topics of yours @Wenbare, how many of the kits you build are actually gifts for someone you love. That’s so heartwarming and give them a special and heartwarming meaning, and I’m guessing it also adds some sort of special joy to the building process, as I’ve felt it while building the Water Lilly for my mum or the Bookstore Nook for my brother?
And hey, you’re bringing her into action! Now you only need to make her join the community
I’ve gotta say it… I’m kind of like her. I like to follow 100% the instructions as they are

Uh oh indeed!!
I think I’ve officially recruited her. There’s no turning back now…
Yes!! She’s already talking about stacking them… I think a Super Creator tower might be in her future
You’re absolutely right, building something as a gift adds a completely different layer to the process. It feels more intentional, more emotional. When you know who it’s for, every tiny detail suddenly matters even more. I love that you felt that with the Water Lily for your mum and the Bookstore Nook for your brother, that’s exactly the feeling!
I admire that discipline. My brain always wants to “just move this one tiny thing…”

Exactly my point! It kind of also prevents the “oh no, I’m building something that I won’t enjoy at home” bittersweet ideas that may come to mind
I can understand haha I guess that also depends on the kind of build? My mindset about it may come from my “I prefer wooden and mechanical puzzles over miniature houses and nooks” situation, hm.

Hehehehe the more monsters we recruit to the miniature world the better it is!
The Happy Meals Kitchen is looking so cute!
It’s so sweet of you to gift her your prize! What better way to show your love than to share the very thing that makes you happy!
Also excited for your meet up!

There are never enough monsters in this miniature world muahahah
I know she needs this right now, and having a hobby like this is really good for her at this moment. What I’ve realized is that I’ve run out of kits that are “just for me”, now I have to share my things, like when I was little
Although I’ve already told her to leave me a few easy kits too, because sometimes I need something quicker and adorable to build

I hope that my great niece will also become the little “monster” that my son turned me into upon receiving my first as a a gift from him.
