I don’t quite understand

Hi!

I just saw that they’ve added another feature to Craft.

Creating without a product—I honestly don’t get it, haha.

Is that section for kits that aren’t from Robotime? @Robotime

I was just about to upload a new craft project and saw that… but it’s not clear to me.

It’s the first time I’m seeing it. I added one entry to my journal yesterday and I had to choose a product … but I assume creating without a product would mean any product that’s not on their list. Although I’m not too sure :slightly_smiling_face:

Hmm that is confusing, maybe it’s a completely diy project ? Like from scratch build or other crafts. Maybe they will tell us about the new feature soon or add details because it’s description does say a product

I think it’s for non Robotime products which is great because I wanted to also post projects that are not Robotime

That would be nice - I got a Cutebee wood and paper flower kit that is love to share my thoughts about with people who are actually interested! :joy:

Yeah, until yesterday I was also just adding a product [to my cart]. But it seems this might be for the Rolife kits—let me try it out and see! Haha.

That could also be it… hahaha. I’ll test it out now and see—though I’ve tagged Orbotime so they can give us a better explanation.

That’s the first thing I thought, too! But the way they’ve phrased it sounds a bit odd, haha.

Hahaha, I guess it’s all about trial and error; for now, I’m going to try uploading kits that aren’t from Robotime and see what happens.

Yeah, me too. I uploaded the ones I created from other brands, but I thought they would appear in a separate tab; instead, they just get mixed in with the Robotime ones—you can’t tell them apart at a glance.

In fact, I even asked them to include a section for blind boxes—specifically those from their own brand—but they told me it wouldn’t fit with the website… But I’ve got a list here of the ones I’ve collected! I’m wondering if they’ll let me add them—haha, like a craft! @Robotime :innocent:

Maybe they can have a specific section for “collections”, which xould either be kits that belong to a series (like the dream factories, super creators or book nooks) or blind boxes. :slightly_smiling_face:

They told me their blind boxes don’t fit with “Crafttime”… but I don’t know—they’re their own products, after all… and I personally like keeping a list of the ones I have.:sad_but_relieved_face:

I saw that too when exploring. Probably the one without a product when you are just journaling tips or material sources. Im not really sure hahaha

This might be true as well since the other one, you need to choose the kit

I got lost too hahaha. There’s still more to explore at Craftime.

I agree! Or maybe other form of crafts that are not miniature kind

The idea of the new platform is to showcase other crafts and it is no longer limited to Robotime products.

I know right. They need to create at least a different section but of course that would be hard on their part if the one posting is not choosing the correct tag or tab
