I have finished my little detective agency. I love how the clock is back lit. It really draws the eye. I like the cluttered, “lived in” environment. My only regret is that the clock doesn’t actually work. If it were a Rolife set you know clock would be real.
The roof casts beautiful shadows on the wall above it.

This is an amazing build and you did a wonderful job but I’ve never seen a working clock in a Rolife model. Are you speaking of one that I am unaware of?
ROKR makes large wooden puzzle clocks but those are different than miniature DIY, I suppose. I just think it a missed opportunity with the clock being such a larger center piece. Obviously I wouldn’t expect the tiny clocks to work.
I still think it looks stunning with the back lighting and it was pretty good quality overall as a kit.
The model are amazing. It look mystical. And even more amazing when lit up.
Gotcha… I know that are okay are makes a lot of wooden clocks but I’ve never seen one by real life so I was a bit confused I guess and yes it does look stunning
This is all the original lighting that came with the kit. I didn’t add any of my own.
I think the lighting design is pretty good. It even has a motion sensor to turn it off and on.

This one was decent. I can’t say much for anything else by the same maker. I haven’t tried anything else from them.

I think it must have been a lot of work to make all the books. The clock is very beautiful in the background. The structure has a cozy, yet also magical feel.
The books took the most time. The rest snapped together very satisfyingly.
