It was such a simpler time in life. One that we wished would end so that we could become adults and do whatever we wanted. Ahh, the innocence of childhood!
Sitting in the classroom and gazing out the windows. Dreaming of playtime with our friends.
Mind wandering as we recite the times table (multiplication) by rote. It’s so hot that the classroom windows are open wide, hoping to catch a breeze while the old ceiling fan ticks slowly overhead pushing the warm air around.
I often dream of these days where life was simpler and the days were carefree.
This was a kit purchased online quite a few months ago. I pulled it out to make intending it for the Mothers Day stall, but I’ve decided to keep it!
I would need to straighten the desktops! LOL Remember how some desks opened and you stored things in there? Others had the opening in the front closest to you and you could slide stuff in? I love all the little things but my ADHD and OC may want to try to put things away LOL
Yes. I also remember when my children went to school, there were desks with a sliding draw underneath.
Of course the classroom will be straightened up once the children go home for the day lol
What a cute kit! It reminds me my youth at school a long time ago with the table in which we were putting away our books.
I teach lessons to students at the university but they don’t like Medicinal Chemistry. Moreover teaching in amphitheater is not as cute as your back to school kit.
Suzanne_Jones, this little classroom scene is pure nostalgia, right down to the open windows and that slow ticking ceiling fan. I love that you decided to keep it for yourself, it sounds like a tiny time capsule of those carefree school days. What a lovely build to have on display, it must bring back such sweet memories every time you look at it!
