My bittersweet moment and why that is the case, let me explain.

As some of you were aware that I recently came back from overseas and unfortunately my grandma got sick and have to admitted to hospital. It was the most stressful and tiring 1 week in hospital. So my sister and I take turn to look after grandma everyday. So the thing is i get bored in hospital so luckily I brought some kit to do on this holiday trip. Didn’t think i I would be doing it in Hospital but I did.

The kit ị was doing while looking after my grandma in Hospital is the tram. It’s classic and reminds me of Melbourne. Very famous for tram ride around city area.

Can you imagine ị was building on a chair. I didn’t get very far and I wanted to paint but didn’t bring any marker with me. So I just got to the base of the tram and had to stop because I need ruler and scissor. So I stopped and bring it back to the hotel with me. I couldn’t continue when I was at the hotel because every time I got to the hotel i just crashed. So didn’t get a chance at all. The day that I was flying back to Australia I was at the hospital and going straight home to pack my bag so I didn’t go back to the hotel to get it. My sister is still going to be at the hotel for another few days so I’m not worried. I Just ask her to bring it back Australia for me and don’t forget it’s in the hotel next to your luggage.

She said sure she can bring it back for me. 4 days later my grandma is finally got discharge and able to go home. I was so happy but still reminded my sister to take my tram home. And guess what…..SHE COMPLETELY FORGOT MY TRAM at the hotel.

I was so sad and upset because I have completely lost my kit and my work on it. I was so sad. :disappointed_face:

So the bitter moments was my grandma was sick in hospital during my holiday trip and lost my beautiful tram.

So 2 weeks later…..My sister now arrived in Melbourne finally.

As usual, I unpacked her bags for her. I always do it because I asked her to bring back my new water bottle that I bought.

And guess what I found!!! :smiley:

It’s not the Tram ofcourse…. But something more interesting…

She bought 2 new kits for me. This one ị was having my eyes on it for a while and somehow she knew when I didn’t tell her. She thinks it’s nice so she bought it to make it up to me that she left my tram at the hotel. Now I’m not so upset but would want to get the tram again. Hihi

Awwwww…Maybe the hospital has it there for you. I hope your grandmother is doing much better. Those are really nice kits you got.

Thanks @Nita_Davis , grandma is alot better now. My sister left it at the hotel so when they clean the room they would throw it out already

How nice that your sister is back and brought you two kits. Although the second one is pretty and colourful, I am in love with the first one!!

Omg the candy workshop!!! Id love to see progress on that as i had to choose between the candy and the star :sweat_smile:

I’m glad to know that your grandma is finally discharged and okay now. :blush: You’re spoiled by your sister to make up her mistakes to you. Lucky you. :pink_heart:

Tricia12 my heart went out to you reading about those hospital chair build sessions while caring for your grandma, talk about dedication. That tram base already carries Melbourne memories and now a whole new chapter with your sister rescuing the kit from the hotel. Sending biggest hugs for your grandma’s recovery and for you to catch some rest before you dive back into crafting magic.

Thank you so much for your comment, she could not rescue my tram because she didn’t realise you forgot it at the hotel. So I would think they threw it out. So that is her making up to me. But I love that tram. :disappointed_face:

Glad to read that your grandma is doing better now. And too bad your sister forgot the team, but sweet of her to make it up with 2 new kits. Definitely if one of them is one you really wanted and you did not even tell her :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m sorry you lost your tram. It must really suck to lose all your progress. On the bright side, the two kits your sister got look really interesting. Hope your grandmother is doing better.

I wasn’t familiar with the brand of ship, but I love the Tonecheer one! I’d love to build that one; the color scheme is gorgeous.

Thank you so much. Grandma got sick again 1 week after coming home but got her medications and she is fully recovered now
