It’s already pretty high in my wishlist! This is probably my current next-to-build order:

  1. Cuckoo Clock
  2. Dream Coffee Factory
  3. Space Shuttle
  4. Fairytale Amusement Park Book Nook

My husband and I met in a very unexpected way. A close friend of mine was studying with him at university in Canada while I was living in Brazil. She introduced us, and we started talking on Facebook. What began as simple conversations slowly turned into something special. For an entire year, our relationship existed only online with messages and a lot of anticipation. One of the sweetest moments was when, after a year of talking, he finally came back to Brazil and traveled to my city just to meet me in person for the first time. That moment made everything feel real and unforgettable. Now we live in Canada and we are married :pink_heart:.
If I could choose a Rolife kit this Valentine’s Day, I would choose the Rolife Sakura Densya. This kit has a very romantic atmosphere, with cherry blossoms and a train that represents a journey and meaningful encounters. It reminds me that love is built over time and distance, just like our own story. Building it together would be a special way to celebrate our relationship and create a beautiful memory side by side.

Wow most of them are Rokr kits. They’re awesome kits.:pink_heart: What Cuckoo Clock did you choose? Is it the colored one or non colored?

I know! But I’m still doubtful wether to go with the Cuckoo Clock or the Coffee Factory first. The call of the novelty!

For the clock I’ll go for the colored one, I don’t really enjoy painting things myself and I really like how it looks. Also I moved to a new place a couple of months ago and I don’t have a clock yet, so… Sounds like the next step of my home decoration!

That is such a beautiful story! :sparkling_heart: The way your relationship grew from simple online conversations into something so meaningful really shows how love can blossom across distance and time. That first meeting in Brazil must have felt magical—like all the anticipation finally turning into reality.

Thank you for reading my story. He is really sweet. And he cooks well. Lots of yummy food ahead.

We met through a mutual friend. All three of us graduated from the same university but I didn’t meet my spouse until four years later on a trip, arranged by the mutual friend, to an amusement park. We were long distance for 3 years, been together for 11 years now.

It’s hard to narrow down the sweet moments (the anniversary weekend trip to Chicago was nice but kinda over shadowed by the homeless man peeing on my car). Our greatest love story has been the birth of our children.

If I could could pick one ROKR puzzle it would be the Luminous Globe. The design alone is great but I’ve wanted it for a while as a teaching tool for my children (the planets approximate shame, earth rotation, location of countries, etc).

I think Rokr models have more woods than Rolife so it’s really hard to model Rokr. It will need a lot of patience and time before you finish coloring and building the model so it’s nice that you go to the colored one instead to save time. I think it’s working like a real clock so it’s amazing. I don’t know if it has an alarm clock too.

You’re welcome. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: The best way to show love is through the stomach. I will agree on that since my partner always cook for me too.

Welcome @Dawson_Day. Such a beautiful love story. I honestly thought you were going to say that you would like the new funfair arcade book nook but your choice is amazing. Such a wonderful dad to spend time teaching his children.

Thanks! I’m still unsure wether to go first with the clock or the factory.

That’s such a heartwarming story! :two_hearts: It’s amazing how a mutual friend and a simple trip to an amusement park led to such a lasting relationship. Three years of long distance must have been challenging, but it clearly strengthened your bond—11 years together is truly inspiring.

Welcome to Robotime Community!

Yes, I totally agree and can relate. It’s perfect for a person like me since I’m bad at cooking wahaha.

I’m not good at cooking but the least I can guarantee is that it’s eatable. haha
