My husband and I met in college. I had stopped by the activity room called “the Cellar” to get a snack before going to work. He walked up to me and said, “I’ve never had the pleasure of introducing myself…” (shook my hand, and then after chatting a bit), he asked me out and the rest is history. We just celebrated 45 years of our meeting date on the 16th. We’ve been married 42 years. If I could gift a Rolife or ROKR kit this Valentine’s Day, I think it would be the Eiffel Tower. I don’t think we’ll ever be able to afford to go there, I think it would be quite an accomplishment for whomever I would choose to get it.

That’s very sweet. My husband doesn’t really have the patience for miniatures. (He says just looking at them makes him nervous) But, he totally likes the ones I’ve done. I love doing them. The more pieces, and more complicated, the greater feeling of accomplishment, (when they work, haha).

We have seen each other every day since we were married and choose to be together. I agree with you. We just like being together. We both feel very blessed.
