It’s a delicious fruit!
Although here in Spain the price is high because it’s an imported fruit.
It’s from Southeast Asia, specifically regions like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Sunda Islands.

I have never heard of a mangosteen. I had to research. I guess it is fairly rare in the US due to the Asian Fruit fly. Fruit needs to be irradiated. So if we can get them, I guess they are expensive.
This is delicious!
