Guess What Our Community Helped Bring to Life? The Treasure Tray Is Here 👀

  1. I would definitely use the Treasure Tray for my kits! I build a lot of miniature kits, and one of my biggest struggles is keeping all the tiny pieces, boards, paper parts, flowers, wires, and tools organized while I’m working. I’m always making little piles on my desk, and then halfway through the build I’m like, “wait… where did that tiny piece go?”

  2. My favorite feature is the multiple compartments. I love the idea of being able to separate pieces by step, by board, or by type of material so the build feels less chaotic. I also really like the built-in ruler because I’m constantly measuring paper pieces, wires, fabric, or tiny decorations, so having it right on the tray would be super convenient :sparkles:

  3. The size looks useful for my usual builds, especially for Rolife and Robotime kits with lots of tiny details. It looks big enough to actually organize pieces, but not so huge that it would take over the whole crafting table

  4. If this became available, I would absolutely be interested in getting one. I think it would be one of those tools that makes building feel smoother, calmer, and more enjoyable, especially for detailed kits

  5. For a premium wooden organizer like this, I think around $25–$35 would feel reasonable depending on the final size and quality. If it came with really smooth wood, sturdy compartments, and that built-in ruler detail, I could see it being worth it :star_struck:

This would definitely earn a spot on my crafting table. It feels like a small upgrade that could make a huge difference during a build :yellow_heart:

Excellent idea, thank you Martin! I definitely would love to have one! My favorite feature is the divided sections — especially for sorting small parts so they don’t wander off the table or disappear into another dimension.

The size looks really practical for most of my usual builds. Big enough to be useful without taking over the entire workspace.

If this became available, I’d be interested in getting one, especially if the wood quality feels sturdy and premium.

This feels like one of those “why didn’t we have this sooner?” crafting tools!

Oh my goodness. As someone who leafs thru my boards that sit on the chair next to me, this would be an amazing addition to my ever growing 'Craft Stuff". It’s gorgeous!

This is so exciting! Thank you for listening

  1. I would definitely use the tray. I am currently using the boxes and it’s hard to dig everytime I need a piece
  2. I like the idea of the divider. This would help us save time and lessen neck pain finding which piece of wood to use :grimacing:
  3. The size looks good to me. I will find space for this.
  4. Yes, of course! We all need this in our lives.
  5. Maybe 20-30usd or better lower

Holy crap, this looks amazing. To amazing to see a idea from a member come to life

Wow it looks a decent size and something i would definitely use. The concept and thought processing creating this organiser is fascinating and so interesting. Well donevto Robotime designers and production team. Can’t wait to see it live.

This is a fantastic product and so clever designed! With this, every craft lover will just have a full package to his/her crafting world. Stunning job and so nice to hear and see that you listen to ideas around here! I also love that it’s made of woods and give the owner a way to creatively paint it the colors that he/she likes the most!

To answer your questions!

  1. Yes for sure!
  2. I like the alphabet separators (its just the most practical) but the what attracts me most are the drawers! I love all kind of drawers! And those are beautiful and also the gears next to them adding so much fun steampunk vibe that i love the most in Rokr products! Could be nice update to my carton boxed tools storage that i have right now xD
  3. the size looks perfect but to accurately estimate, I’d need to see this tray in person and see how it’s used. So, I think the size you chose is definitely well thought out.
  4. FOR SURE!
  5. I’ll answer like a typical poor person. The cheaper the better xD but honestly, I think the cost of production plus a 20% margin is a fair price. Maybe more but discount for the community please xD

Reading all the comments I also think that personalization with the name is such a brilliant idea!

Thank you for your great job like always <3

Wow kudos for this!! It is beautiful and would certainly help to keep things organized! I love the separated / labeled (A-B-C) for the boards. I think that is my favorite part. Currently I lay them sideways in the box, in alphabetical order, and go through that way to grab the board and piece I need. Not very feasible if I have a little piece that was in the middle of another and is now loose. This would allow me to keep it where it belongs - with its letter board!
I also like the area in front to place bags. Keeps everything together and I could still fit little containers in there if i wanted.
I just noticed the ruler on the front! OMG Yes, yes, yes! And depending on the drawer sizes, this could hold some of the tools and clips we may need, or wax! great ideas!
It is hard to say much about size as I would like to hear measurements. (Did I miss that?).
The esthetics is just beautiful. I would be ok paying 20-35 USD which is close to what others are saying.
It is pretty enough that if someone did not have the craft space, this would give them a clean and organized place to keep and could easily carry room to room. Or like me, home to camper to home!
Would I get one? Depending on size and price, I am saying a big yes!
:star_struck:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :two_hearts: :100:

The first impression when I saw this is …”Yaye, you guys are finally making it” I have been waiting for you guys to announce this some day ever since I saw Martin’s post. This definitely gotta be one of the important accessories that we crafter going to need.

Here is my thought.

  1. Would you use this Treasure Tray for your kits?

Absolutely! My journey of building and exploring this hobby is like an adventure. Ị don’t have a crafting table like many members here do. I tend to craft at different areas around the house such as on the couch, bed, dining table, office desk and in the garden. I have a cast iron table and chairs in my garden which is just perfect for relaxing building moment. Having this tray I would be able to neatly organise my building materials for the kits without fear of pieces going missing. At the moment I tend to build using a wooden tray like this with legs so I could easily have it over my lap wherever I am sitting.
The idea of having this organiser tray is just perfect.

  1. Which feature do you like most?

Here is my thoughts on the feature.

  • The board organiser labeled with letters are perfect. This will help us to shorten in finding the collect board parts.

  • The bottom tray is very useful to hold small parts and little tools so they don’t go missing.

  • Ị really like the engraved designs, they are so cute. I love wood so this is perfect.

  • Phone holder would be fantastic. Ị can record my building process with ease.

  • Little storage on the side is very well thought after. It would be really handy to store little equipment such as tweezers, screw driver etc.

  1. Do you think the size looks useful for your usual builds?

The size seems to be just right for me. Ị don’t really mind the big size because I prefer to have more space so it can holds more. If I am building on couch or bed, it would make it a lot easier to hold more things.

  1. If this became available, would you be interested in getting one?

DEFINITELY! I would purchase this without a second thoughts. This tray is functional and it is something that I will need.

  1. What price range would feel reasonable to you for a premium wooden?

I would believe the price range between 20-30USD is reasonable. This is an accessories, so people need to feel that it will worth their budget. They might be thinking they rather put that $30 towards the next kit than this, but hey this will worth every penny.

I have a little suggestions for some additional features that I think it would be really good to have.

  1. Personalise Engraving
The engraving designs of this build is really cute and I can totally relate to the builds that are on it. However, I would like to think this something very personal and as you are aware, Ị tend to like a bit of personal touch to my build. Same thing with this. Once the ball is rolling, I believe this will be in mass production. I think if the company have got the option for customers to choose to add personal engrave would be nice.
For example: Their Name, ạ quote etc with space limit.
For this feature will add a personal touch and would make this as a great gift as well.
Ofcourse, with this personal engrave would incur additional fee. So a reasonable fee for this could be 5-7 USD.
I think people would purchased it and pay extra for that personal feature.

  2. Ị would love to have a clear Perspex lid over the top of the bottom tray. This will help secure all the little pieces inside.
Why is this matter? When building on places like garden, couch, bed etc it can limit chances of little pieces going in cases of accidents such as being knocked over. The lid cover will also provide a little space to rest the hands when we build. Just like an extra support. For those that doesn’t have much space in their building areas, this will serve as an all-in-one accessory.

  3. Legs for the tray

Having the foldable legs for the tray will allows me to comfortably build when relaxing on bed or on the couch. Having it with the option for it raise will limit the chance of having a sore neck.

This is my current tray. It was used as a food tray but since I started building, it is no longer a food tray. But I would love to get this treasure tray because I want it to be unique and special to my crafting journey.

  1. The option of Gloss or Matte finish

I know some people would prefer a matte finish but for me personally Ị would prefer a gloss finish. Because if I accidentally spills anything on it or having paint stuck on it, it is a lot easier to clean with a gloss surface. With a thin clear coating it would not affect the looks of the engraved designs.

  1. Metal ruler instead of wood because it is the area that I might be resting my hands on it the most when building so the metal ruler will look better and the lines don’t fade over time.

How cool if the back of the tray looks similar to this? Before, it comes a tray, its an another build. hehehe

I love the looks of this design, very nice and elegant as well. For a tray that look like this, I would be happy to pay $45 for it.
Having something that looks very creative, fun, nice and functional is what I always think of Robotime.

I hope you like my modified AI version of it.

I had an idea later after I posted my comment. I would like the slots to be labeled alphabetically, from A to whatever as you move from left to right. In the picture, it appears to be going the opposite way.

This treasure tray looks absolutely stunning :star_struck:
I think it is super handy, so that all the sheets can be organized and you have a better overview. I will definitely use it

  2. Which feature do you like most?
I like the design the most. The combination of Rolife and Rokr is reflected well in it. For me, the sheet holder is the most interesting, since I usually build Rokr models.

  3. Do you think the size looks useful for your usual builds?
It looks a bit big, but you don’t need the box anymore, and that saves space in the workspace.

  4. If this became available, would you be interested in getting one?
I have limited storage space, but I’m sure I’ll be able to find a spot for it. I like the design and I think it’s very handy, so I will definitely buy one.

  5. What price range would feel reasonable to you for a premium wooden organizer like this?
    I think around 30-40 euro

5-10 dollars might not be cover the shipping fee from China

If it’s manufactured in China, I think that price is reasonable. Because goods from Chinese factories are still cheaper. I know this through buying models and comparing international prices. Moreover, people already have many cheaper, more versatile alternatives for storage. A price that’s too high would make them reconsider whether to buy it as a replacement.

You can check such things at Amazon,if you can made this stuff and sell at 5-10 dollars,I bet you would be bankrupted.

I’m not the manufacturer; that’s the price I’m willing to pay. Robotime decides what price to sell it for. It’s not like I can just get the cheapest price I want. And I don’t buy products from Amazon; they’re too expensive when converted to my currency.

  1. Would you use this Treasure Tray for your kits? Yes, I would definitively use it. Currently I am using a small separate table where the boards and other piece are somehow arranged. Though, I have to confess that I was “contemplating” to build myself such and organizer or Treasure Tray.

  2. Which feature do you like most? I like the way it is organized with the letters corresponding to actual Boards. Not sure if this would be possible, but I I am thinking to use something like "A – 1, B -2, etc. for these designated board-compartments (just a thought).

  3. Do you think the size looks useful for your usual builds? It looks a little bit bigger, but, hey, there are a lot of boards and a lot of other parts to be stored. And I will make room for it.

  4. If this became available, would you be interested in getting one? Yes, I will get one as soon as possible.

  5. What price range would feel reasonable to you for a premium wooden organizer like this? Hmm, good question. Maybe somewhere between 30 and 35 EUROs.

Few separate suggestions for this Treasure Tray, if I am allowed.

I would like:

  • To buy this Treasure Tray as a kit and assemble it (well, perhaps many others would like to build it, I believe)

  • Maybe put the letter from left to right as it could be easier of some of us to find quickly the board we are looking for. Or, maybe better, give to each builder the possibility to chose where to start with the letter (either let to right, or right to left.

  • The Treasure Trey to be somehow “foldable” in case not used for a work-in-progress build (this way we can free up a little bit of space. E.g., the tray front can somehow be like a drawer or something similar and fit underneath the board holders’ part (at the back)

There may be other features, I don’t know, but these are on top of my head right now.

Good point! I did not notice that first time. But many of us read left to right. and I would face the box most likely with the left side closest to me so I could access everything
