Original kit: Rolife Holiday Garden House TGB06 Book Nook
Since my Halloween miniature project is going so well and I might even finish it ahead of schedule, I decided I absolutely wanted to jump into the winter theme challenge too! For this entry, I’m doing something pretty unique. I am using a Holiday Garden House book nook that I have already completely built. I plan to carefully take it apart so I can totally overhaul the entire look.
Instead of going the traditional route with a warm, cozy holiday look, I want to completely flip its theme on its head and turn this elegant greenhouse alleyway into a freezing winter abyss.
To bring this cold atmosphere to life, I am going to paint the structure and change some stuff up to make the whole kit look like it has been hit by a massive, frozen blizzard. I have a really fun story planned for this concept as well, but I want to keep the specific details and the narrative a complete surprise for everyone until the final reveal!
I am really excited to tear my kit apart and transform it into something completely different. I can’t wait to get started!
You only need to use the “worldchallenge-26winter” tag on your final submission for winter, as with “worldchallenge” on your final submittion for autumn. This is how they search for all of the completed builds for each part of the comp, so you don’t need to use it on your In-pogress or original idea posts. I too used the tags, but since Robotime clarified things, I have gone back and removed these tags from all my posts.
