Oh the difference that paint makes. These require no special painting talent as each piece is painted individually before assembling.
I have them unpainted, and honestly, once they’re painted, they have such a different and super cool vibe! ![]()
@Wenbare…awww…at least with flowers you could still paint them if you like.
Amazing how the paint masked all the joints. Feels like a plastic model now! ![]()
This flower is so healing! Your photo is also very beautiful
I absolutely love the Brick Bouquet series – it’s such a beautiful collection that you can keep forever!
@Noah It pretty much does…but for me…I paint them because I don’t like seeing the raw edges.
@iris These are really fun to build
@Linda Thank you for your kind words! Welcome to the group. I look forward to seeing your creations.
Let us immerse ourselves in the wonderful assembly time together ![]()
@Linda …YES!
Such a lovely change of colors! ![]()
Thanks! @Obsidian_spirit These are so easy to paint before building.
Beautiful colors! They look so real
Thank you! @Ann
Some of these were tough to build…the lilac (or lavender…whatever) OMG. I was pulling my hair out @Microgirl
The flexy pieces do become a bit trickier if painting, so be aware @Microgirl . If you have multiple coats of paint, you may have to take your knife and cut through your little lines. I’ve done this many times. The little canopy on the front porch of the Christmas Dream gift factory was a bit tough to deal with. I also find that sanding/waxing the tabs makes them go in easier.
I’m so sorry you had a bad experience.
Never say never. I hope you get the urge to try again. @Microgirl Thank you for your kind words.
Well…I have to admit…there are MANY things I WON’T be doing a second time around…and MICRO models are probably something I will never even ATTEMPT to do. We all are talented in different ways. @Microgirl Love? Over-rated…LOL!
These are beautiful ![]()
