Today, I was meant to work but took a day of leave to go with all my girls (both daughters and teenage granddaughters) to a wedding dress fitting. The whole point of today was to see what styles suit my youngest, and what she really likes.
We have an idea now of what looks good and what doesn’t, but we have another outing planned to a different store next month.
After an afternoon siesta, I pulled out my kit. Still loving it and the time flies when I’m working on it. I didn’t work on it yesterday, instead reading the latest Kathy Reichs book.
This is to cover one of the doors.
And, I’ve been making lots of lights. I was testing them one by one but got tired of testing each one, so I’m trusting to a higher power that they all work.
So far, I have five installed onto the roof and another 4 to be installed elsewhere.
It is very unique. I haven’t heard of the maker but the kit is good quality, the instructions are fairly straightforward, and it’s an enjoyable build. Mind you, I haven’t finished wiring up all the lights yet
With sets that have many lights like this, you should test the bulbs. I’ve had cases where bulbs blew out, and it took me a bit of trouble to replace them.
