Autumn Entry
Creation name/theme: Thanksgiving at the Farmhouse
Original kit: Rolife Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen
Creative concept: A fall transformation of the Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen into a cozy New England gathering place filled with Thanksgiving treats, hot apple cider, autumn harvest décor. This one is inspired by my own New England hometown growing up, my favorite fall treats and the feeling of coming home for the holidays.
How I plan to transform it:
- Repaint the exterior in a warm fall palette
- Swap floral fabric details for plaid and linen
- Restyle the porch with pumpkins, mums, and corn husks
- Add New England seasonal touches — cider, donuts, cranberry sauce
- Update the interior with a full Thanksgiving table and seasonal food styling
- Warm up the lighting throughout for a cozier, golden-hour feel
Winter Entry
Creation name/theme: Lauterbrunnen Fondue Night
Original kit: Rolife A-Frame Cabin (DG181)
Creative concept: A winter transformation of the A-Frame Cabin into a cozy Swiss alpine chalet. This one is inspired by one of my favorite vacations I took to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.
How I plan to transform it:
- Repaint the exterior in aged wood tones with white trim
- Add a snow-dusted roof and winter landscaping
- String Swiss flag bunting and alpine details along the porch
- Restyle the dining area with a fondue setup, replacing the original table scene
- Add warm amber lighting and alpine textiles throughout
- Upgrade the fireplace/wood burning stove to be a cozy focal point
