[Collection] What kits they have in KKV - Lucky China Town Mall (for PH)

Miniature Hunt at KKV Lucky Chinatown Mall :house_with_garden::yellow_heart:

As a miniature collector, there are two dangerous words I can say to my husband:

“Let’s just browse.” :joy:

This weekend, my husband and I visited KKV at Lucky Chinatown Mall because I heard they carried Robotime and Rolife kits. Of course, my main mission was to check if they had any Super Creator Series kits available.

The moment we arrived, I immediately spotted the Robotime section. It felt like finding treasure! There were shelves filled with DIY miniature houses, book nooks, music boxes, wooden puzzles, and ROKR mechanical models.

I was excited to see several beautiful kits on display, including:

:sparkles: Super Creator Series
:sparkles: DIY Miniature Houses
:sparkles: Book Nooks
:sparkles: Mechanical Music Boxes
:sparkles: ROKR Industrial City Series
:sparkles: Gravity Swing Models
:sparkles: Wonderland Book Nooks
:sparkles: Blossomary Atelier
:sparkles: The Last Stop
:sparkles: Magic Shop

As expected, I spent more time looking at the shelves than my husband probably expected.

Unfortunately, for fellow Super Creator collectors, the selection was quite limited during our visit. Most of the available units were duplicate designs, and several of the newer releases I was hoping to find were not in stock.

As someone who already owns quite a few Super Creator kits, I was secretly hoping to discover a hidden gem or a rare kit waiting for me on the shelf. No such luck this time!

Still, I enjoyed seeing Robotime products becoming more accessible in physical stores. There is something special about being able to see the boxes in person instead of scrolling through online shops and convincing yourself that you don’t need another kit.

(We all know how that usually ends. :joy:)

What I love about visiting stores like KKV is that they inspire me. Even when I don’t find exactly what I’m looking for, I leave with new ideas for future builds and an even longer wishlist.

My husband was very patient throughout the whole miniature hunting adventure, following me from shelf to shelf while I admired every tiny house, book nook, and wooden puzzle. Thank you for always supporting my hobby, even when it means spending an hour staring at miniature buildings. :yellow_heart:

Overall, if you’re a Robotime, Rolife, or ROKR fan, I definitely recommend checking out KKV Lucky Chinatown Mall. While the Super Creator selection was limited during my visit, there were still plenty of interesting kits available for collectors, builders, and miniature enthusiasts.

Now the real question is…

Which kit would you have taken home if you were standing in front of these shelves? :eyes::money_with_wings::joy:

Such an awesome selection. I probably would have taken home one or two gravity swings and the SC bathroom.

Wow! This branch has a lot of selections. What did you buy?

I was able to get the Magic Piano and a Bookstore Story Frame thanks to Paula so I need to stop myself from buying more

This is definitely dangerous when there are Robotime shelves involved :joy:. I love that your husband patiently joined the miniature hunt, and even if there weren’t many Super Creator surprises this time, seeing all those kits in person must have been so exciting. I think I would have spent ages staring at the book nooks and convincing myself I was only looking hahah

Hahaha, absolutely! :joy: Robotime shelves are dangerous for both the wallet and the available display space. Every time I tell myself I’m “just looking,” I somehow end up adding another kit to my wishlist.

And yes, I have to give credit to my husband. He’s always with me on these miniature hunts, supports my hobby, and never complains, even when I spend way too long staring at tiny houses and comparing boxes. :face_with_hand_over_mouth::yellow_heart: He’s probably heard me say “Just one more aisle” more times than he can count.

The book nooks were definitely tempting too! I could have spent another hour just admiring all the details and pretending I wasn’t mentally rearranging my shelves at home to make room for another kit. :joy::house_with_garden::sparkles::yellow_heart:

hala, nabudol na siya!

@MamaNheza “let’s just browse” might be the most dangerous sentence in a store full of kits. Thank you for sharing such a helpful look at the KKV Lucky Chinatown Mall selection, especially the note about Super Creator availability. It’s wonderful to see the shelf hunt become part of the collecting fun.

Lucky Chinatown was actually the second KKV branch I visited that week specifically hunting for Super Creator kits, after first checking the branch at SM North, and then I somehow ended up at X11 where I completely surrendered my wallet to the cashier! :joy::two_hearts: There’s just something so cozy and exciting about wandering through the aisles, spotting familiar kits, and hoping to find that one special addition to bring home and add to the collection. :house_with_garden:

Bought only 1, the Living Lounge. Parang wala naman talaga sale :sweat_smile:
