This sounds like a great idea for a customization! The dog in the picture looks so cute.
It’s a lovely idea if you manage to pull it off! Good luck.
This is such a great idea! It would be even better with a little person in there too. The poor little dog looks a bit lonely all by itself! ![]()
amazing customisation
The fun is also in the ideas! And gathering your items. Good luck!
I definitely agree! Perhaps a family of four having tea after dinner
Lol! Yes, I would focus on just having fun!!
Dogs and cats are just so adorable
Beautiful! And the little sleeping puppy is a very nice touch ![]()

This sounds absolutely magical! I love how you’re not just decorating the Country House, but creating a whole Christmas Eve story around it. All those little details, especially the sleeping dog, glowing lights, gifts, snow, and the dinner table, will make the cottage feel so warm and lived-in. I can already imagine how cozy it will look when everything comes together. I can’t wait to see the finished Evergreen Cottage! ![]()
Christmas is my favorite holiday! I wish it was christmas everyday. ![]()
It is definitely fun! Thank you
you too!
I can certainly agree with you on this. @Melinda I am flying by the seat of my pants over hear…LOL! The ideas pop up here and there. i jot them down…and then lose ‘the list’. I am just going to put it in my tool drawer on the Treasure Tray from now on.
Thank you, that makes me feel a little bit better! My experience is that I will try something, and maybe not like how it turns out, and have to try something else. So I tend not to get too detailed in my planning because I know what I’m like…
ME! I hope I don’t spent too much time on this tree…only to hate it upon completion…LOL!
My thoughts about my approach to autumnifying Sunshine Town! I was going to repaint the green from the trees to orange, then wondered about using the leaf fluff on the green - but if I start with leaf fluff (which I think will be pretty for showing the seasonal change) and don’t like it, I won’t be able to repaint! Oh the pressure! I’m going to test it on a small piece and see what I think.
I would just have to paint it first before adding the fluff. If you don’t like it, you will know soon enough.. Take it off (sanding) and repaint.
@Melinda Thats the best advice I can give. Sorry.
I’m really hoping that the green behind it looks as nice as I envision - you know when the leaves just start turning? When there are still green leaves, but with the colours turning, so that it’s a mix of green, red, yellow, and orange? I love that.
Great idea - sanding it off should work if it doesn’t look right.
