It took me 2.5hrs in total to complete but I believe it would have been 2hrs if there was no interruptions.
I truly enjoyed building this beautiful masterpiece. The lilies are so tiny, it was a bit hard pushing the small petals in with my big hands. Thankfully I didn’t break any piece but the kit has so many spares so don’t need to worry about it.
Next I prepared the battery box and threaded the lights along the frame. I secured the lights under the bridge with this clear plastic then sealed it with the other side of the bridge.
The same clear plastic material will be placed on the base to give the illusion that it’s a pond. Such a genius idea! Then I placed each lilies and pads one by one. The little boat is also so cute.
Jill_Francisco, what a lovely finish! We love that you were able to sneak in a little more time on the Glittering Water Lily and bring it to completion even with house chores calling your name. It must feel extra satisfying to see it done, such a beautiful little reward for your busy day!
In my opinion, not really. The wood is sturdy. But the little petals might break if you put too much pressure. But you don’t need to worry because they provided a lot of spare
