Thanks so much @Suzanne_Jones . I will definitely be checking finished dimensions much closer in the future…but for now, I am plugging along.

I am thinking experience really helps on this kit! You know ways to do things different and perhaps better!

I am trying my best. The 1cm pillows last night were rough…LOL!

Guess what @NoodleSalad ? I followed your advice. My cherry blossom house just arrived. YIKES! I am a glutton for punishment…LOL! :face_with_peeking_eye:

Yes! You’re killing the ocean villa, so I know you’ll do your typically fantastic job on that one! I keep them as a pair on my shelf, and they’re adorable! Can’t wait to follow along with that build, too. I really look forward to your posts.

Thanks so much @NoodleSalad . I barely peeked inside the box. It looks a bit scarier…the blossoms…LOL!

Which one is that Nita? I know you will post soon. I would love to see!

I won’t be finishing this one anytime soon. It is called Ocean Villa and the other one which is the same size is called Cherry Blossom House. The scale on these is about 1 to 70

OMG ok I think my Pergola was like 1:48 or something. Tina @Tkaplan was best with that!

It may be…I just googled the size of a grand piano and then scaled it down…

Oh my Nita, that is one tiny house! But with your talents and expertise, you’re gonna do amazing with this

Thanks so much @mchipman . This one is definitely testing my skills. There will be NO straw hat, for sure. That thing went staright to the trash. 2mm bead for the dome…NOPE!

Wow that is tiny @Nita_Davis I’ve done the little houses that size but never a three story like that.

Oh yes - that straw hat was insanity!

My “solution” was just essentially to shellac it into submission. :joy: It’s a hard little snippet of fabric rather than a floppy hat, but I wasn’t about to let good be the enemy of perfect at that stage! :grimacing: Wishing you strength, soldier!

Thanks for that tip. I MAY try again this evening @NoodleSalad
