I was putting together the roof of my mysterious world kit yesterday and i lost a piece it was a small part that i had painted pink. I looked everywhere! I was about to rip open the vacuum cleaner bag with tears in my eyes when i spotted it right behind a table leg tucked in out of sight! I was so relieved!!!
Have you had a build disaster? One that could be fixed or one that couldnt? Have you ever lost a part and had to wait for a new piece to be posted out before you could complete your build?
Tell me your disasters or almost disaster stories!
Luckily you found them. My disasters are many: spilled paint, dried clay, broken wood.
I thought I lost the piece of wood. I looked everywhere and it was in the trash bag.
Good light definitely helps! I dont think i have any that bright though! I will have to get one! My old eyes arent very good anymore so that will for sure help! Those are tiny pieces
Ohhh i was thinking this morning when it took me about 3 hours to make a wire and bead candelabra that super glue would have been handy, but i then thought i would likely end up with a mess
Friendly reminder!
If you’re missing any small parts, you can go to Robotimeonline.com ,
and find a link to a replacement part. They offer replacements!
Mom no longer has to worry about my cat taking my parts.
Sometimes when I break a part, I just glue it back together. But for pieces that can’t be fixed, I reach out to their support at service@robotime.com. The after-sales service is pretty good — they always help me sort it out.
Oh wow, what a relief you found it before opening the vacuum bag—that would’ve been a real tragedy! I’ve had a similar experience too. When I was building Catherine’s Living Room with my daughter, she opened all the little parts bags and mixed them up, so I could never find the piece I needed at the right time. In the end, when I finally finished, there was still one piece left over! I just thought, well, it doesn’t affect the overall look, so I’ll leave it as is.
I broke the parts. But it’s not irreparable. I installed it carefully. I hope you don’t use too much force in the future, otherwise the parts will be irreparable.
I have to admit that when I was building my Coco Shop, I lost a tiny part—a little red-and-white stick. I finally found it under my computer case on my desk. Losing such tiny parts is such a pain!!
