I am printing a mask from the legend of Zelda which has to be assembled. The pieces are on 5 different plates of printing. All 5 plates will take about 120 hours. The final plate of parts finished overnight so I will be able to start the 2 characters for the castle today. It sure how long they will take yet.

I didn’t take photos of the individual pieces, but here is the final assembled mask. The eyes were 4 seperate pieces, pupils and iris’s seperate, all the spikes were seperate , and the face was split down the middle to print in 2 halves. The 6 yellow triangles above the eyes were also seperate and such a tight fit that they had to be sanded a little to get them to go into place.

Wow, that’s impressive - I don’t know anything about 3D printing, but I’m amazed that it’s possible to make something that looks as sleek as this with a home 3D printer!

Thanks @Suzanne_Jones. I can’t take any credit for the design. That was someone else’s work. Mine was just a huge amount of patience and the money to buy all of the filament and assemble it of course :joy::joy::joy:

2 kg’s total, but the mask only weighs 1kg. The rest was poop paste from colour changes.
