Buying this small kit thinking it would be a faster and easier build compared to the ones I’ve built before turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
At first, I thought I wouldn’t be able to do it and that it would just end up being a waste since I hadn’t really tried painting kits before. I’ve always thought I wasn’t artistic enough for things like this.
But I decided to take on the challenge and finally understand why others spend so much time painting and customizing their builds. When I tried it myself, I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it, even if I mostly just followed the instructions provided. It was messy, but seeing the final output felt incredibly rewarding. It made me realize that this is probably the first kit I’ve completed that was 100% DIY and built completely from scratch.
It’s definitely not perfect, but it’s something I’m truly proud of. Being able to start and finish this made me less afraid to try doing things my own way instead of always just following instructions.
After completing this Record Kit, I now have the impression that the smaller the kit is, the harder it actually becomes. But I won’t let my big hands get in the way of building those tiny pieces
If you didn’t say it was it was painted I wouldn’t have known because you did such a great job at it!! But yes the smaller the kit the smaller the details the harder it is to work on them with big fingers
