It’s been non stop rain for the past several days so I decided to do one of my builds I received from being an Ambassador and organizing and leading local meetups.
I’ve never done a gravity swing! Overall an easy build with solid thick pieces. I was getting a little “punchy” on the last page and missed adding the wire!
I was sitting here perplexed and my husband looks at the directions and points out my mistake - I made two - both easy fixes!
What a fun project for a rainy day! I had a laugh at your husband’s eagle-eyed catch. It’s always those tiny steps that are easiest to miss. The Santa Sleigh Gravity Swing turned out beautifully, and it’s great to hear the fixes were simple. Looking forward to seeing it in motion!
Building that snowflake was a bit of a struggle and then the piece that I had forgotten was the wire and you’re supposed to put that between the two pieces and I’m sitting there holding it and I’m like where does this go and my husband had to take over the situation and he said well it goes in there or stick it in there and that’s when I realized I messed up.
On my last one (the Santa on skis) I put it all together perfectly…and then I saw that the second weight was not installed…LOL! Every dang time (3 so far), I mess something up on those. @kialo
Fun project! I chuckled at your husband’s keen observation. Those small details are often overlooked. The Santa Sleigh Gravity Swing looks beautiful, simple fixes are great. Eager to see it in action
