Poor Gizmo.
He’s even offering you the glue bottle to help.
@Suzanne_Jones yes i really need to build his head, did his legs and arms this week
@Suzanne_Jones i’m so very insecure on this one, so I often ask advice on my husband as he has more experience building these little things, never did making books and little paper boxes before, as it is my first miniature build; so then he tells me how i do things best in this build
I think that the mini blocks and Lego are easier than the amazing mechanical and flower builds that you do.
I’m sure Gizmo will have his completed head very soon. You are a very talented woman ![]()

I am building The Muse right now. There is one tiny box that is a little difficult but I think that this build will be super easy for you.
This is such a cute build! Enjoy!
This is what i have done so far, today i did the corner from the shop, just because i felt like doing the corner, sometimes i don’t follow the instructions and build what i want
Sometimes you just have to!
@Sofie_Vanderbeken its a
Nice build
i enjoyed that one ! Xx
Who are these dapper gentlemen invading your bookshop?
@Suzanne_Jones the big angry wolf, or as he also calls himself the great wolverini, a character from the Efteling Fairytale Forest, he always tries to catch and eat Little Red Riding Hood, he comes from the fairytale Little Red Riding Hood, he is my favorite character in Efteling, we go to Efteling again for 3 days end december from this year, my daughter is a big fan of Efteling, i also have a big angry wolf cap and pluche, Little Red Riding Hood tasty snack, this is Red Riding Hood in picture 3, they are both fairytale characters
I’ve never heard of the Efteling forest so I googled it. Although I know of many of the fairy tales (such as Little Red Riding Hood), there are so many that I’ve never heard. Guinevere’s Wedding Dress is a lovely tale. I’m going to read a few more now.
Today I did a lot of tiny things for my build, making books and other tiny things, further I did some sewing on my SAL this afternoon, tomorrow I will do the book boxes for my book shop
Today was a slow day, I always take a slow they after the weekend, weekends are often not very slow when everyone is home, so took the time making the paper book boxes as it was the first time making them, so I kind of have everything ready now to start building up the kit to his final stage.
After the montly consult in University Hospital Ghent from last Friday, the professor told us it is time thing about a date for daughters big surgery, so we should sit down with our daughter and start thing about a suitable period for that in combination with school holidays, this is a mayor progress if they start thinking about the second and final surgery for her. We don’t know if this will be this year as we planned a holiday and it will take her about 6 to 8 weeks to be able to eat again, next school year she starting in her final year of her secondary education, so we will have to plan this cleverly
This one is such a fun little project! you will so enjoy it!
You are so good with your SAL. I’ve started these but never finished them.
You will definitely have to plan carefully so that it doesn’t interfere with her schooling. It’s such a big thing to consider. I hope it all works out for you. Big hugs ![]()
@Suzanne_Jones i don’t like getting behind with it because i know i just not going to do it then, so i try to keep up with it every weekend
I’m having a really bad day, problem with my eyes is still not solved and I’m giving up, cried a lot today already and now I have a headache from crying my eyes out, i feel like no one believes me i can’t see it
Sofie, I am wondering if you need to see a neurologist? Is it all the time? or just sometimes? Your eye Doctor thought all was well, but did they check during flare up?
