Funny enough, I didn’t pick up a kit this time. This shop used to be my go-to spot for RC cars and tools, and today felt like a return to those roots. Instead of miniatures, I focused on the essentials that quietly make every build better.
I walked out with a small hammer and a set of sanding files, simple tools but absolute workhorses. These are the kinds of tools that don’t get flashy posts, yet they make all the difference when it comes to clean edges, precise fitting, and those tiny finishing touches we all obsess over.
Sometimes it’s not about adding another kit to the stash, but about upgrading the tools that support every future build. No rush, no checklist, just enjoying the process and the hunt.
I have those too, except for Bears Sweetie! I’m actually surprised you didn’t grab any of those @Orangesareus since you were looking for old kits the other day!
Haha, my backlogs soft capped right now until new stuff comes out in January , but just because I’ve already bought all the old kits available … and all the new ones .
