A Sweet Afternoon Tea with My Melody | The Wheel picked My Favorite

Once again, the wheel did not disappoint (not that it ever will since I love making miniatures). So yesterday, it picked Rolife x Sanrio My Melody Sweet Afternoon Tea

My Melody has always been my favorite Sanrio character, so I was so excited for this one.

I was contemplating on adding little sanrio characters I’ve collected from gashapons but I decided to add tiny picture frames of my daughter with my favorite characters, My Melody and Hello Kitty, from our visit to Sanrio Puroland back in 2010 instead. I also made a miniature scrapbook of that visit and placed it inside the finished scene.

And just like that, My Melody’s Sweet Afternoon Tea became sweeter and a tiny holder of real memories. My daughter said it was so nice that My Melody had a scrapbook of her in her little corner.

Compared to the wooden kits, this was a quicker build, but it was just as enjoyable. Here’s how it turned out:
