Today is a very special day for the creative community: Rolife is celebrating its 9th anniversary!
What better way to mark the occasion than by sharing the model I built today? Here is this gorgeous espresso cart, an ultra-detailed and cozy model!
This project was extra special because I put it together with my mom. It was a total first for her! I was really happy to introduce her to this exciting world and the precision of assembling miniature kits. That being said, the experience also confirmed one thing: I still prefer building my models alone. It’s my personal me-time, my little bubble to unwind and disconnect. ![]()
What’s in the kit?
Right from opening the box, you can tell how high the quality is:
An instruction manual that’s clear and detailed to follow step-by-step.
5 separate bags full of treasures: pre-cut wooden pieces, hard plastic parts, metal elements, and various small accessories.
A folding paper sheet made of printed cardstock (to make the boxes and coffee bags).
A sticker sheet to customize every tiny object with precision.
The final build & favorite details:
What I love most about these miniature kits is the incredible richness of details that brings the whole scene to life when you look up close:
The triporteur & patio table: A wooden bike in green and terracotta with its cargo bed, paired with a small bistro table and its “Best Coffee Ever” menu sign.
The coffee selection: A whole collection of miniature coffee bean bags (Cappuccino, Brazil), tiny sealed silver pouches with gold labels, and realistic packaging boxes.
The barista gear: A stunning silver espresso machine, a transparent coffee grinder filled with beans, a cup and saucer, to-go cups with straws, a coffee jar, and even a little slice of matcha cake with a golden spoon.
Life details: Two golden baguettes tied in a clear bag, a woven basket, a vintage brown leather-style backpack, a metal kettle, and this adorable brown dog sitting on the cobblestone base next to the cart.
Once everything is assembled under the striped “Espresso Cart” awning, the scene looks amazing. Such a fun build for this 9th anniversary!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Robotime ![]()
