Hi there,
Im wondering if anyone has any creative uses for the boxes the kits come in after you are finished with the build?
I have a stack thats growing quickly and I would love to find a way to reuse them!

I’m removing all the usable parts from the box and then throwing the box and everything I won’t be using anymore into the trash. I’m curious if anyone has any good ideas for anything left over.

Well, I do the same as @Liset. At first, I used to keep them — in fact, I still use some to store leftover pieces and anything I can reuse for other projects — but in the end, I throw the boxes away. When a box gets too worn out, I replace it with a newer or bigger one hehe.

I do the same as @Liset. First, I keep redundant details because they can be used for next kit or replaced broken details. For some special sized boxes, I use to make tissue box, store paint bottle.

I usually keep the boxes because they’re too pretty to throw away. But I would love to hear what others do to reuse them.

Just like @Jill_Francisco I can’t part with such pretty boxes. I usually keep leftover unused pieces from various puzzles in them, but I also love storing my other small items in them.

I have been doing the same thing, the boxes just seem too nice to throw away! I was thinking, Maybe i will repurpose them as gift boxes, but thats all i’ve got!

I have been keeping them so far, but if i dont find a use then the pile is just going to end up too big im afraid

I think turning them into Miniature Shelves could be the most fun! You can cut them down to size and turn the boxes into little shelves for your other miniatures or collectibles. It’s like giving them a whole new purpose, and they’d look super cute on a display! Plus, it’s a great way to show off your creations. What do you think? Would you give that a try?
