@Natasha_Stanley I like this ! I have seen it before and never thought about getting it and using it but I am happy to see it in action with you lol
@Ellen1 I love my glue gun! I got a cordless one on sale and I swear it was one of the greatest purchases I got in a while (after my craft knife anyways lol)
@Adrian202 whaaa I need this!! so many kits I have done could benefit from this one! what a great idea!!!
Amazing tool. Thank for share
So wonderful post. Nice kit
I use them all the time but found that that they rust a bit from my wood glue so i don’t put to much glue from outside where they touch
My fine-tip tweezers are the one tool I can’t build without!
Detail Detective
Toolbox Emergency: My own special building emergency.
I use my tweezers for lots of little tasks, but they’re especially helpful for placing stickers. They let me hold a sticker just above the surface so I can line it up exactly where I want it before sticking it down. I also use them to peel and place Robotime’s little round orange sticky dots and the white strips of double-sided tape. The fine tips make all of those jobs much easier than the tweezers that come with many kits. I can usually make do with other tools, but if my favorite tweezers aren’t on my desk, it feels like something is missing. ![]()
My tweezers are a puzzle saver to get small parts that fall into puzzle or to hold in order for me to press the small part into a small hole.
There are several tools that are useful for building/crafting, but my all time go to are these three.
the tiny hero (and
glue guardian) is my
Handy Hobby Helper, an extra pair of hands to keep items in place while the glue dries. The magnetic base is super helpful as an extra table space to keep things tidy, in place and aligned.
the sanding sticks are a
secret weapon, they get into the hard to get places and so much easier to use specially on the small items.
Tool: Precision Tweezers (my “Tiny Part Rescue Team”)
I never start a build without my precision tweezers. They make it easy to grab tiny parts, place delicate pieces exactly where they belong, and rescue anything that disappears into those impossible-to-reach corners. They’ve saved me from countless frustrating moments and make every build smoother, more enjoyable, and much more precise.
What makes these tweezers even more special is that they were a gift from my friend at a Robotime workshop! Every time I use them, I’m reminded of that wonderful experience and the kindness behind the gift.
Tool: T-8000 Glue (my “Everything Sticks Together” helper)
This glue is the tool I can’t build without! Even if it gets a little messy sometimes, it helps keep all the tiny pieces together and makes my projects strong. I like that it gives me a little time to move pieces into the right spot before they dry. Building is so much more fun when I know my creations will stay together. My glue has helped me finish lots of projects!!
I use the same one too!
I have the exact same tweezers at home as well! Great pick!
So far i only try keep the little pieces to the edge of the clips because i worry about the same thing. They hold onto pieces well but they seem rather gentle. ![]()
Definetly an essential for me, super handy!
I have never tried a glue gun…but others speak highly of them @Ellen1
Those are some great tools and I love their nicknames. @Car
Those look amazing for building walls perfectly. I have done quite a few DIY’s lately where those would have come in handy. @Adrian202
I love this! I bet a lot of us are going to start looking at cotton swabs differently now! ![]()
