Warm Christmas Lodge (not Robotime)

This little Christmas Lodge is going to be pretty cool. I’m exhausted today. I played Carpenter, bricklayer, painter, and even tried my hand at basket-weaving. Apparently, that is not my forte because I quickly put that aside. I just love the little snowman with his ear muffs on. I think the Spiral goes tree is pretty cool as well. Of course, I am changing the color of the siding which is a pale minty color to my favorite Arbor Green and my roof will no longer be maroon, it will be Brown. Stay tuned for more remodeling on this one

So beautiful. Thank for share.

You are 100% correct…and THIS is why I pick and choose what I FEEL like working on. So far, I’ve done (SOME) stuff on pages 14 -21 and 31-32….i just check them off as I go…

Ugh! I can not do that! I am way to OCD! I have to do the instructions in the exact order that they are in!:rofl:

nope on the basket LOL. I used to do macrame. I wonder if I could manage that! See what happens @Nita_Davis when we chose to not take the underwater basket weaving course in high school or college? We could have aced this

This is definitely a very hands on kit! :joy:

The snowman is so cute however! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Wow! This looks like so much fun. I don’t mind trying some weaving  the colors are looking great @Nita_Davis

This is looking fantastic already, @Nita_Davis! I love how you’re putting your own spin on the colors, and that little snowman is absolutely charming!! Good jooob!

This will be my first time with wire work. The chandelier is taking me forever to do @JDisaduck

It’s really interesting how they have you actually weave the basket. I’ve made the Rolife version where you just cover the string in glue and wrap it around a box or something. That alway worked well for me. Just used a lot of glue. It was the sturdiest piece of the set with all that glue.

I’ll bet it was….LOL! I’m putting that project off to the side for a bit… @SunnyCee

Looks like a really nice kit but a lot of tiny items that take a lot of time. Im not in the mood for such a build haha.

It is a LOT of tiny items. Almost 3 hours to make a chandelier…LOL! @Jerry_Boswijk

You got this! Can’t wait to see it but what I find most useful with wire work is a glue dispenser with a needle point tip they work like a charm!
