No it happens everywhere I remember months back someone made a post about this specific problem so 
each time I remember this specific topic it makes me angry
In here, there is a specific courier that is quite notorious for this. I was kinda surprised at the beginning when Robotime is using them. I was praying that they “changed”. And this delivery proved that they havent totally improved at all.

That sucks omg in algeria the only courier that carries international packages is the national post and to be fair they never open the signle packages the one they shred was the prize of the giveaway I won back in oct so it was 4 packages in one go which I think they thought was suspicious so they just shred them with boxcutter, this only happened once I can’t imagine having to deal with each time!! genuienly kuddos to you!!
This is such a cute / fun kit!! I can’t wait to build mine as well, I almost bought it a couple weeks ago. Can’t wait to see progress pics. Happy building!
