Nawww. Thankyou fellow potato.
I’ve done no building at all tonight (headache) but I will try again tomorrow evening.
I hope you feel better soon!
Rest is more important even when the hobby is addictive. ![]()
I haven’t really had time to build the past week either.
Oh no. Now I’m scared. I have this one but haven’t built it yet. I was initially excited when I was able to track this one down.
Have you done any of the other kits from this series besides these two?
I have a big tube of b7000 but it has a needle nose on it making it easier to use a little bit of glue on specific spots so my hands don’t touch it. Dont know if you’re has that. I sometimes use my tweezers to scrape away exces glue.
I’ve done the garden shed one and it was fiddly. This one is just frustrating. Making taps out of beads and wire is difficult. Maybe it’s just my fat fingers lol
Mine has a needle nose but when you out and an of glue on one head and then add another that slides right off, putting it back manages to get glue on my fingers ha ha
I think I’m a bit of a klutz ![]()
Not sure what you mean because od the typos haha but i use a very small dot of glue on 1 side and then lay down the bottle and add the part and wait for the glue to settle before i add a nother part
Sorry about the typos. My phone thinks it knows better than I do.
I put the dab of glue on a bead and put the glue down but when I put the next bead on, it just slid off. Putting it back on meant I got glue on my hands. Unfortunately, this kept happening and then it all stuck to me.
For that i would advice my earlier tip of using a small wire to treat through the beads and take that out after everything is dry. That way they cant fall of. I used that technique on the kettle as well.
I didn’t see that too earlier but it is awesome. Thanks so much for your assistance Jerry. I will try that from now on. Sending air kisses from down under!! ![]()
That’s so sweet of your husband.
Those kits may be small but they can be challenging.
It turned out really nice! The gramophone is very cute. It looks like you had a successful Valentine’s Day ![]()
I had a nice Valentine’s Day Thankyou.
I love how your weekends always turn into little adventures ![]()
The washing machine + Spotlight combo was clearly meant to happen! And even if this kit isn’t your favorite, I admire your determination to see it through. Sometimes the “challenging” ones end up being the most memorable heheh
Thanks Wendy.
Memorable for all the wrong reasons though ![]()
That’s a really pretty box of flowers that you got!
The build is also adorable! ![]()
Thanks very much @Atropex. I think next year, I’ll ask him to by me wooden flowers lol
