Boy do I have a lot to say about this kit.

If the dream gift factory if my favorite so far, this is my least favorite… I don’t know if I can say this but dear lord it pissed me off so bad :sob: (that even swinging santa afterwards didn’t remedy that) I felt like I developed anger issues while assembling it, felt my blood pressure rising and for the first time ever I considered throwing a kit away or better yet smashing it into the wall (yes it was that serious).

This kit made so angry that I can’t objectively rate it anymore so you’ll Mostly be reading negatives today :pensive_face: so be prepared for that!! Anywaays leggoo!!

Also disclaimer: I’m writing this for funsies so please don’t take it seriously to the point I’m just trying to be funny :sob:

◆::◇::◆::◇::◆

First: what I liked

quite few tbh!

  1. I loved how bright the red was (it was not a faded red if that makes sense) and I loved that it was such a perfect shade.

  2. The metal rods: quite frankly my most favorite part they were so soft to touch + the sticky clear things that we stick to the base of the compartment, I loved how they felt and they were such a thoughtful gesture.

  3. This carrot (don’t mind the blurry photo).

4.And the last thing: this baby in the back of the carriage.

◆::◇::◆::◇::◆
Now to what I didn’t like or rather wished was a kittle bit different
A lot… :sweat_smile:

1.My nightmare tbh: these littles pieces

They just wouldn’t stick into their places and A3 that was supposed to hold them together was doing NOTHING and you can’t glue them because it’ll create a problem when you put the red covering part with the map on it ( I hated them with every moving fiber in my body, even now I think they’re roaming free in that compartment).

  1. I wish the snowflake in the drawer had another placement where we can stick it in rather than just staying behind closed doors (unless it was meant to be a compass and I’m too idiotic to realize that).

Also rotating the snowflake was enjoyable

3.In the subject of rotation I wish the red main snowflake in the end of the curved rod had a gear layer so that we can rotate it that’d have been so cool (ik it’s difficult considering that it’s too sides glued together with a magnet but a girl can wish :pensive_face:).

4.Now about the colour palette:
°• I wish the gingerbread man was a darker shade of a brown rather than pale wood brown.

°•Add the deer to that too, I think it’d have been better than that gold.

°• Lastly I wish the green was a but brighter rather than dark to match the vibrant red, alongside the other two I think it’d added much more dimension to the kit.

5.I think santa’s bread should’ve been included in his face to begin with rather than being a piece we snap to his face and I wish he had an actual face like defined eyes, nose and lips, that would’ve been so cute bcs right now that beard looks so awkward… Add the deer to this one too.

  1. Lastly this kit should’ve included more double pieces or back-up pieces to compensate for my burned nerves because I broke too many pieces for my liking …

First you got the present gold wrapper

Status : broken…

Second the deer’s horns

Status: broken again… And now the bells don’t have a hanging place…

I think I broke another thing maybe it was the carriage skates but I can’t remember for sure so backup pieces would’ve been nice.
◆::◇::◆::◇::◆

Finally
When I thought this was over, my stupid brother comes in with his annoying antics and tries to rile me up (he knows it doesn’t take me even 2 seconds to develop a temper) so I TOLD HIM TO NOT TOUCH THE KIT BUT GUESS WHAT HE DROPS IT AND GUES WHAT AGAIN I HAD TO DO MY WORST NIGHTMARE AGAIN WHICH IS THE DRAWER COMPARTMENT… and for the first time in my life I considered murder so I knew it was time to reconnect with nature.

◆::◇::◆::◇::◆
SO FINAL RATING

3/10

And this is me being generous…
ROKR I love you but this kit was testing my sanity so don’t hate me please.

◆::◇::◆::◇::◆
And if you made it this far, boy I love you :sob::sob: and hope you enjoyed my rant.

Hilarious! We all have those kits that drive us to the brink of insanity while others thoroughly enjoyed them. I think most people have enjoyed it. I know I did. I loved every bit of it except the colors, so I painted it. every. single. piece. Santa's Sleigh gravity swing

Yes this kit was a little difficult and I did break a couple of very delicate pieces but I did love this build how Santa’s arm moves when the pendulum swings. I felt really proud and admired my build once complete… My nightmare build is looking like being Dora’s loft. I have had to redo many pieces so far and I’ve only just started.

haha, I think that is your unforgettable day & kits :rofl: in 2026~ I saw the picture from Robotime and the deer’s horn is easy to broke due to it so fine… maybe can use the airdry clay to repair it…? :thinking:

Oh no…I have seen a few others say that this is a tough one to do. I wish you the nothing but the best on it…and don’t let your brother even look it.

Sorry to hear about your experience @valleyggoo some kits do need a lot more patience and determination. I’m just glad that you still have your sanity intact after all that :sweat_smile:

Omg it became prettiet :sob: I’d love to re-paint it too but I’m not the best with acrylic paint nor do I have an artistic eye, maybe after I practice on paper for a while I’ll gain enough confidence to re-paint it

Thank you so much. I have never attempted to paint one after completion. I do 95% while still flat on the boards. I do edges as I go.

Pendulum so the thing dangling the carrot upon the deer had a name :sob: but yes some pieces were fragile and I have rough hands and this was the result

I’m not familiar with airclay or any clay for that matter so I think I’ll just messup things even more so I’ll just stick with a broken deer horns :sob::sob: and yes I think this will be my unforgettable kit (I built it in November and yet I’m still bitter about it)

Sorry that you didn’t enjoy it. I haven’t build this yet so I will see how I go when I get to it.

Oh no :sneezing_face: it’s really sad to feel like that ~ but do you think the problem with the tiny pieces was a larger space between those and the other pieces??

My first 2026 build is the fairytale house and I’m still working on it so I decided to post about this one first :sob:

That’s probably you right there. :laughing:

But that’s what I like about this hobby because an absolute menace to you can be the complete opposite for others. There’s something for everyone. :pink_heart:

And you’ll always gain something out of this. Hopefully the next kit will be sweeter!

It’s true I didn’t enjoy it but while writing the post I was quite enjoying it so I just considered it to be a “joyful experience” and left it at that :sob:

Yes that and for example in the picture the pieces A3 had so much space that they were just loose and kept falling off like they didn’t stick to their places and stop moving like what we feel with usual pices if that makes sense

The Fairytale Tree House…? That’s nice choice! Slowly and enjoying~ :heart:
