Luckily, after a day and a half, I got my phone back. In the meantime, I finished the bottom layer of the cuckoo clock. the edges of the card symbols were difficult to paint but after 3 layers of paint it worked. I can’t wait to paint the top section. It will take some time before I can start on that, since a new work week starts, and tomorrow night I also have a concert to attend.

Thank you @Nita_Davis The concert is Friends of Amstel Live. Twenty-four different Dutch artists will perform, singing their own songs as well as songs with other artists. It’s set up like a large pub, so it’s sure to be a fun time :smiling_face:

Yes it’s includes in the design. They’re actually two pieces of wood. The front one has the cutouts, and the back one covers them. This way, I could easily give it different colors.

Thank you @jeanneL I used a cheaper paint that’s a bit thinner and therefore doesn’t cover as well. This gives you a more stained color.
