I totally understand, im also always wanting to go to fast and sometimes hold my breath when building and i need to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the process
Wauw, some strokes are so tiny. You almost need a brush wih just 1 hair on it.
Yes ![]()
but even with the correct tool, you need a good control of it to have those results ![]()
Your painting looks great @Liset . The colours are beautiful
Aww thanks @jeanneL I’m glad I could help. Love this community where we can all share ideas🥰
Thanks @Nita_Davis, I painted them at first but they were so shaky, it took a while lol but it finally dawned on me to use a permanent felt tip pen, copic I think. So much easier ![]()
Hi @Liset yes I used a permanent felt tip pen, copic I think. I was trying to paint them but I couldn’t get a good line. It took me a while but I finally realised I could draw them in
. Oh Liset if you could’ve seen my Christmas tree lol, I’ll get round to posting pics soon. I definitely messed it up a few times lol. But sandpaper, patience and paint were my best friend. Hopefully today I’ll get it done.
So cute! Very clever to paint such tiny detail ![]()
Thank you @Tricia12
for the first time i mixed colors to get the right one
I’m very curious to the christmas tree ![]()
Thank you @Nectarines the toys where painted already, but the colors where duff, so i painted them again ![]()
It looks really good. Some of the parts in my cuckoo clock I have to try a few different colours to get the one that I like too. But that is when I already paint it and realise I didn’t like it then change it. ![]()
you can learn by trying ![]()
I think so, so I don’t mind making mistakes. ![]()
@Liset I know some use those acrylic paint markers and I think you put up a pic of a very thin brush. Can you remind me what you use for paint?
You did amazing on all the details on the toys! Its looking great! ![]()

I use acrylic paint of Amsterdam, I don’t know if it is also for sale outside the Netherlands. I know @Nita_Davis use acrylic paint of apple barrel
Thank you @Emma_Samchek ![]()
