I was able to build again tonight, or rather, paint. I spent the whole evening painting the little toys.

@Jo_Zanella thanks for sharing your progress; it gave me inspiration for painting the little toys.

It’s very relaxing work to paint, so now I can sleep peacefully :wink: I think it will take some time before the build is completely finished

You’re so right — the key is to find what truly relaxes you. I also struggle sometimes with slowing down instead of rushing to finish, but enjoying the process makes such a difference. Painting is so calming, and it’s lovely that you can go to sleep peacefully after that. Take your time, it will be worth it!

Aww that just made my day @Liset, glad I could inspire you. I love the painting you did, they look perfect you have a steady hand :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I had trouble with a steady line as they are so tiny.

Me too @Liset. I’ve been working on the Christmas tree and tried to decorate it and messed it up a couple of times :joy::joy::joy: I’ll get there eventually lol. I’ll post pics later of my fails :joy:

I really like the painting. The toys just light up more and look appealing! I was not super interested in this because I felt like the colors might be a little dull. Seeing what you and Jo did makes a world of difference to me!

Thank you @jeanne :hugs: I also found the colors a bit dull, so I decided to paint over them. I also managed to paint the edges of the building. I was worried it wouldn’t turn out well because the colors weren’t exactly the same. But I discovered how to mix the paint and get very close to the building’s colors.
