Update 2 Aroma toast lab tip

Today I spent all evening making the lamp. The wires were difficult to bend to the right size. The hardest part was getting the thin black wires through the small holes in the round wooden block (A6). The wires easily fall out of the holes.

I did it as follows:

1. Make sure your holes align and are level, so the black wire fits straight through.

2. Place one piece of wire through a hole and cut it to size.

3. Use the cut wire as a template for the remaining three wires.

4. Place a very small drop of glue on top of the hole.

5. Place the wire through the holes (from bottom to top); the glue will hold it in place.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the remaining three wires.

7. Glue the round block (A7) to the top and cover all the holes and any glue residue.

This is the end result

Thank you @JDisaduck :hugs: hopefully i can help someone with this tip because it took me more than an hour to make this lamp. I almost threw it out of the window. That lamp was lucky it’s cold here, so I didn’t want to open the window

Thank you @Nita_Davis :hugs: It was really fiddly to make and I almost gave up

Wow! That turned out really good! :star_struck::star_struck: Great job!

Thank you @Atropex :hugs: I’m glad it finally worked out. I think this is the most difficult part of this build.

Definitely a challenge. I would have probably struggled with the wire hook mechanism in particular. You did a great job bring it it together. Thank you for the tips.
