my first kit was Super Creator Fascinating Book Store. hard to believe it’s been less than a year since I did my first kit! I quickly fell down the rabbit hole 
I think the kits are very reasonably priced. I try to do a good balance of finding discounted kits from second hand sites and buying full price kits via Rolife, that way I can sustain both my wallet and rolife’s business model 
I think my favorite kit that I’ve done would have to be Mose’s Detective Agency. it’s very fun and I love imagining the story behind it.
I’m from the USA! it’s hot here now, but we are entering chilly season soon. I enjoy chilly season, good vibes for crafting and lots of pumpkin everything 
I’ve not yet done a mechanical model, but I have one waiting to be put together and I also look forward to doing “Dream Gift Factory” later this year around the holidays!!

Tuesday Quiz — A Little About Me & My Crafting!
1) What was your first ever kit and what made you buy it?
My very first kit was Elsa’s Tailoring Shop. It was a Mother’s Day gift from my son and daughter-in-law, and little did they know they were introducing me to a hobby that I would absolutely fall in love with! That one special gift started my miniature-building addiction!
2) What is a good ROKR, Robotime, or Rolife kit price that you would willingly pay?
For me, it really depends on the kit. If I love the design and it looks interesting and challenging, I’m willing to pay a little more. I always say that crafting may not be the cheapest hobby, but the enjoyment, relaxation, and satisfaction I get from completing a beautiful kit make it worth every penny!
3) If you had to choose ONE kit as your favorite, what would it be?
You’re making this difficult because I have TWO! The Tipsy Restaurant and the Dream Coffee Factory. I just can’t choose between them! They each have something special that makes them a favorite.
4) What country do you live in? How’s the weather, and do you travel to events?
I live in the USA, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. I love the weather here! As for traveling to events, it really depends on the event and location, but YES, I do travel to events and enjoy meeting people who share the same interests. 
5) Do you like mechanical puzzles with working gears, or static models like famous buildings?
Definitely mechanical puzzles with working gears! I love the challenge of figuring everything out and putting all those pieces together. Sometimes they can test my patience , but that’s part of the fun! There is nothing more satisfying than finishing a challenging mechanical build, turning it on, and seeing everything actually WORK. That feeling makes all the time and effort worthwhile!

You definitely should visit the Philippines someday! 
I actually grew up in Manila and moved to San Francisco in 1980, so the Philippines will always have a very special place in my heart. I still go back every year to visit my brother and friends, and it always feels wonderful to be home 
again.
Filipinos are some of the warmest, friendliest, funniest, and most hospitable people you’ll ever meet. Even when life is difficult, Filipinos somehow find a reason to smile, laugh, sing karaoke 
, share food, and enjoy being together. We welcome people with open arms, and before you know it, you’re no longer a visitor—you’re part of the family!
And you definitely won’t go hungry! Filipinos LOVE feeding their guests. You have to try adobo, pancit, lumpia, sinigang, lechon, and halo-halo. Just be warned: when a Filipino tells you, “Eat some more,” saying you’re already full usually doesn’t work! 
There is also so much more to see beyond Manila—beautiful beaches, islands, mountains, waterfalls, historical places, and breathtaking scenery. 
I may have lived in San Francisco for many years now, but Manila will always be part of who I am. I hope you get the chance to visit someday. I think you would absolutely love the Philippines and its people!
